Nutter has never quite been himself after an unsuccessful bomb defusal reduced him to a moronic nutcase. Ironically he has never failed another bomb defusal since. Nutter lives off a steady dose of neurostimulants and various other psychoactive pharmaceuticals which may attribute to his increased affinity and understanding for things that go boom.
